Asa McCurdy Jr., Chief Operating Officer of The Bitcoin Stewardship Initiative (TBSI), brings a unique blend of precision, strategic foresight, and systems thinking to the mission of land regeneration. With a Bachelor’s in Information Systems from Park University and 20 years in the U.S. Air Force as a weapons manager, he specialized in multi-year logistics planning, managing large teams, and maintaining strict accountability for critical assets. Currently, he serves as Deputy Program Manager for a $117 million U.S. government initiative securing strategic defense capabilities.
At TBSI, he leads operational strategy to raise and deploy capital for ecological restoration projects. The team focuses on installing swales and planting perennial, fruit-bearing trees and shrubs—an approach that restores degraded land, captures water, and grows long-term value. He sees regenerative agriculture not just as a solution to food and climate challenges, but as a path to reconnecting people to purpose, land, and community. For Asa, the vision is clear: steward capital toward systems that heal ecosystems and uplift lives.
